It's been a while

I just recently remembered that I even had this blog. Looking back through all these posts makes me laugh at myself, but hey, I guess I've changed a bit since I was 17. I keep telling myself I want to get back into writing and photography; 2 things I really enjoy. I'm not sure if I'll keep this up but I've been writing recently so I figured I'd share some stuff.

Argentina

Over spring break I went to Buenos Aires, Argentina with 30 of my high school spanish classmates. We explored around the city and went into the suburbs of El Tigre, a town about an hour outside of the city. Me and my friend Max stayed in Belgrano, a neighborhood in Buenos Aires. We took the Subte (the subway system) everyday to get to school and in addition walked around 50 blocks a day, so we got a great feel for what it was really like to live there. South America is incredible and I'd love to go back. Here are some photos I took during my two week stay...

Xaphoon Jones Mixtape Volume II

April 1st, 2011 Xaphoon Jones will come out with his second mixtape. It's been a big couple of weeks for both Xaph and Chiddy. Israel

A few weeks ago I got back from the craziest, most amazing place I have ever been; Israel. I arrived at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv and went to straight to Jerusalem with 19 of my family members. After spending several nights in Jerusalem, we went to a small Kibbutz near the Jordan River. On Our last night we stayed in Tel Aviv, which surprised me with all of the art, music, sport, and culture. This trip to Israel was definitely the first of many. Here are some photographs i took using 200 speed 35mm color film on my Nikkormat EL. More B&W photos coming later.
